Trend to try: Pleats.

I recently purchased this red pleated skirt and it has instantly become one of my new favorites. I can't wait to wear it again with another combination of items. Today I went with a short sleeve v-neck and a vest. Next time maybe a sheer scarf and a tank. Also, this skirt can transition easy into the winter and fall with deep neutral accessories and tights.

Double take.

Look 1: Wear two dresses! There is nothing wrong with layering two dresses to create a different look. In this case I wore a striped tank dress under an unbuttoned shirt dress.

Look 2: One word: Neon! I threw on a bright neon, collared, sheer top, and the look came together. With a lace bandeau and a pair of high waisted shorts the look is cool and chic.

Color to try: pale pink.

Today I wore a white lace dress with a pale pink blouse over it. I love the pale pink color and the button up laid back style of the flowy blouse. It has an asymmetrical hem line and long sleeves that roll up and can be buttoned. I love this color because it can be paired with white, black, and grey for a fun mix. Celebrating my 700th post today!
