Rope Lights.

Try decorating with rope lights in your dorm or your room at home. They are really cute and they light up the room! They come in many colors but I preferred the plain white. They are not too expensive and they have a different look than plain Christmas lights. They are much more sophisticated looking in my opinion. :)
