Two looks.

Lots of photos today! The first outfit is what I wore on Friday and the second what I am wearing today. Friday's look consisted of jeans, boots, and a tent-like tunic top. I love the color and the shape is very comfortable but chic with the tight sleeves. Today's look is also based on comfort with a pair of basic leggings and a long sleeve tee I dressed up the look with a flowy multi-colored tunic and some bracelets. Snow boots were also a must for today's weather.

Light and dark.

This is the second cardigan I scored from the Missoni for Target line at Goodwill. The colors are gorgeous and I love it paired with the beige dress. I decided on pairing the dress and cardi with dark colors to really make the beige and gold hues stand out. Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a great day!

First day back.

I am back to school finally and ready to start posting again. I should be able to make it out to take photos everyday Monday through Friday. This is what I decided on for my first day of classes. A new dolman sleeve tee featuring orange and grey stripes. I also wore shorts and tights because I prefer the flexibility rather than wearing plain old jeans. Have a great day!

Friday.

This is my last post while still at home. I head back to school on Sunday and I am planning on being back on track with posts on Monday. Today I wore my new white cardigan and pattern tights. Worn with black and purple to offset the bright complex tights. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Paints.

I love this dress because of the painted flowers. The print looks as if the flowers were painted right on the fabric. The bright colors are amazing, and they were perfect to brighten up another dull day. Worn with basic black and a bright pink scarf. Never hesitate to wear bright fun colors, not only will they make your mood better but everyone around you will feel happier too.

Missoni.

I scored two Missoni for Target cardigans at my local goodwill store. Today I wore one of them. I was so happy to find this sweater because I absolutely love the colors. I was even more thrilled when I realized the cardigan perfectly matched my favorite pair of pink tights. With the bright pop of color I wore a basic casual LBD and my white scarf. An easy and chic look perfect for such a dull day. I quickly snapped these photos before it started to downpour!

Decor ideas.

Hello all! Sorry it has been a few days since I have posted. I have been busy working, cleaning, shopping, and organizing. Today since I spent the entire day out shopping I decided to to a post on decor. I took photos of the things I have hanging on the walls in my closet/dressing area. Under each photo is a description of the item. Thanks for stopping by. 

Each year I purchase a Shoe 360 calendar. These calendars have a shoe for each day featuring vintage, classic, and modern shoes all in full color. Each month also has one large photo. The above photo is of a large photo from that calendar. All I did was cut up the calendar and frame the picture. I absolutely love the above heel which was also accompanied by a quote.

This print of three dresses I found at a local craft store. I hung this matted print inside my closet. Below is a matching print of three different dresses.

I love this ceramic sign. The quote sums up my shopping philosophy so well! I have this hung in my dressing area. It was a gift, but I have seen signs with the same quote at various stores.

This picture features a post card that I framed. I purchased the postcard at a museum in Albany, NY when I visited an exhibit that was all about the history of shoes!
