Separates for Summer.

I love these white eyelet shorts for the summer. They look great tucked into a sheer blouse. I
wore my lime green blouse with the shorts and black flats to make my legs look super long.

This black and white striped skirt was so in this summer with a black and white theme
being all the rage all sumer long. I wore a pink bralette top for a huge pop of color. I also
wore my black flats and a black sweater to make the look more appropriate for work.
Showing a little midriff was very trendy this summer season.

My best friend Kaitlyn and I went to go see the Wanted perform in Pennsylvania on
August 24th. We wanted to wear something comfortable but stylish to the show.
We both wore shorts and tops. My top is from H&M and is a little dressy
with the metallic fabric and my shorts are leather from Forever 21.
I am obsessing over these leather shorts and have worn them several times this summer.

I love wearing this comfortable grey jersey shirt. I paired it with a black top that is open in the back.
Under the top I wore a magenta colored bandeau. I love tops that have an interesting back. I thought
about wearing some interesting necklaces with this blouse but I decided that the open back spoke for
itself and sometimes I find that layering on too many accessories can be too much.

Another week.

I love this shirt dress I recently purchased at Goodwill. I love the colors and the style is perfect.
The collar and sleeves add to the sophistication of the dress. I wore my loafers for a great
work appropriate look. The best part about a shirt dress is that you can throw it on and go!
It was a bit chilly this day so I brought back out my jeans and put on a light sweater.
Rolled jeans and flats are perfect for the transition into fall. You don't want to wear boots
just yet but they look more appropriate than sandals would with the look.
As the weather got a little bit warmer I was able to wear one of my new summer dresses.
I love this strapless hot pink dress from Urban Outfitters. Not only is it my favorite color
but the shape of the dress is extremely flattering and the lightweight material very comfortable.

I love this simple black hi-low dress from Forever 21. Its easy to wear and comfortable but makes
the look more dressy than a plain short little black dress. I wore my pink flats (of course!) and a
silver metallic jacket I recently purchased from Target. I love the Chanel-esque shape of the jacket.

August 12, 2013.

Some days I just want to wear something simple! Like this day I put on my little black dress and a
fun colorful scarf. The scarf is an easy accessory to add to make the look a little less boring.

I took photos despite the rain! I wore this easy tan dress and my black loafers.
I changed outthe tan belt for a black braided belt and called it a day.

This day I put on this striped tunic top and black leggings. The weather was a little bit
chillier and my pink flats were a perfect pop of color. I really need to get some other colored flats!

This day I decided on leggings again and a grey tunic. The scarf was a perfect addition of color
and infinities scarves are all the rage lately. I also put on my black white keys for comfort.

Stripes, floral, and polka dots.

Nothing is easier than a maxi dress with sleeves for a summer day. You don't need to wear
a sweater or a jacket and you can throw on a pair of sandals or flats and be good for the day.
This striped dress is perfect for work and features a faux leather pocket and neckline.

I really wanted to wear shorts this day so I put on a floral button down top to make the
look a little dressier. I wore my new braided white belt from H&M and an easy pair of
flip flops. Although this top has long sleeves it is sheer enough to wear on a warm summer day.

It was a bit cooler this day so I wore a comfy pair of leggings and a tunic.
I wore my black flats for comfort and I love the color of this top. The collar gives
it some class yet the fabric is super comfortable for a lazy day. Wearing a pair of
black leggings with a tunic helps make your legs look super long and lean.

I wore this body con dress to work (daring, I know) but with a chunky sweater it helps
the dress look more laid back and less "going out." I had to wear my pink flats again for
a splash of color with this otherwise basic black and white look.
