Layering solids and stripes.

I love layering stripes and solids. Today I paired a solid plain v-neck tee in one of my new favorite colors. This lemon-lime color is perfect for any season. I wore it over a striped top which I have had in my closet for a few months. I love how the stripes subtly show through the solid t-shirt. I also layered a scarf over a necklace that I made out of a pair of stretched out ripped tights! Another amazing thing about these two tops layered is that the shirt underneath is longer and peaks out under the solid top. It rained so that is my excuse for not taking photos outside! :)

Can't beat that.

I was a total mess today trying to take pictures. I first went outside on this beautiful day but when I arrived at my location I realized I left my memory card in my computer. I then walked all the way back and decided to attempt photos indoors. That did not turn out to well so I waited until after my last class to trek back outside. Unfortunately there were a ton of people around so I quickly snapped a few decent photos and was on my merry little way.

I wore a new oversize sweater from Goodwill today. The tag size Lake Harmony Rowing Club but I could not find much information on that brand. I love the large knit with a fun pink, green, and blue pattern. I paired it with leggings and my moccasin boots today for a comfortable slouchy look. I also wore my hot pink scarf and black beaded necklace for some spice! I have tons of work to do in the next three weeks so bear with me. :)

Shine so bright.

Indoor photos at night are not the best. I decided to dress up to go hang out with friends! I have not seen my friends from high school in forever. It was so nice to see everyone and catch up a little bit. We made plans for another day which is nice because I know I will be able to see them again soon! Tomorrow is turkey day and I am fairly excited. This week is flying by so quickly I do not even know what to do with myself. I still have one more paper to write and I keep putting it off. This weekend I have plans as well so it is looking like I will be writing that Sunday and Monday night once I return to school. I wore one of my summer dresses tonight along with my purple scarf. I love mixing patterns and these two were a perfect mix! Matched with my grey cardigan and gray boots I was super comfy and still stylish to go hang with friends after a night at work. Thank you for reading and be sure to leave me questions for my video post! :)

Back in action.

Back from a short blogging vacation. Things are always hectic the first few days I get home on break. I am now in to the swing of things and hopefully will have a good week of photos and such! Wore a quick look today and snapped a few photos by this little creek that runs behind my house. Wore a pair of Jake Jeans, a blue turtle neck, white scarf, pouch necklace, and my pea coat. I love wearing a scarf over a turtle! Especially with a necklace underneath. Thanks for reading! :)

Hurricane Zone.

It was like a hurricane outside today. My hair was quite the mess all day and it was raining on and off. I attempted to take some photos inside and they came out alright. I wish it was going to be nice for a long time so that I could continue taking photos outdoors. I know in just a few weeks there will be snow on the ground and it will be freezing. I am not too excited for that but the blog must go on and I will do my best. I am now up to 60 followers. I want to thank all of them very much for being so loyal to my blog. And for those who follow me on Bloglovin' thank you too! Once I reach 100 followers on here I hope to do a spectacular giveaway. My very first giveaway in fact!

This tunic I wore today is typically something that I would wear in the summertime only but I worked it into the winter today but wearing a white cardigan and my black leggings. I absolutely love this look it was so comfortable and chic. I had to wear my leather boots today because it was raining, but on a nice day I might have worn my grey boots or a cute pair of flats! I also layered two necklaces a silver key necklace and a blue beaded necklace. I love mixing jewelry especially some beads with a gold or silver chain! :)
