January looks.

I adore this grey pencil skirt from Le Tote. I matched it with a pink lace crop top and a black cardigan. A floral scarf finished the look and added a variety of color. Who says crop tops are for summer only? Pair them with a high waisted skirt or jeans and a cardigan for a perfect wintertime look.

On a casual Sunday I wore my black velvet leggings and a hot pink sweater. A printed scarf and tall boots were the last editions to a casual look. This look is easy and perfect for a girl-on-the-go. I had a model fitting to attend this day and a sweater and leggings are my easy go-to look.

For a night out with friends I wore a new printed dress I recently purchased from Forever 21. Black basics worked perfectly with the look. Although this dress would have paired perfectly with an orange or blue scarf and a tan cardigan (none of which I have in my wardrobe) I matched basic neutral tones with the dress. I can't wait to wear this in the spring without a cardigan and boots!

New Year!

Happy New Year! My best friend Lydia and I rang in the new year together. And of course we both love clothing, shopping, and picking out outfits! Originally we both purchased the same dress to wear on NYE from forever 21. I ended up wearing the dress from F21 which was perfect for New Years and featured the 2014 color of the year Marsala! Lydia wore a sequin print skirt from Express and a great little boxy crop top from F21 (we can't get enough of that store).

This weekend I wore a sweater from Le Tote (a clothing subscription service, which BTW I love) and a pair of shorts from none other than F21 (Lydia purchased the same ones, surprise)! I haven't worn shorts and tights in a while and it was the perfect pairing with this grey sweater. I also put on a purple scarf for a little touch of color. This might be my new favorite sweater. I was super close to purchasing it because the texture is just so luxurious and I love the zipper detail in the back.

Happy Monday! Here I am wearing a typical black and white look for work. I am restricted to b+w during the work week due to a dress code. Today I added a little flair with this empire waist dress with a brocade print. I added a black sweater, scarf, and boots to finish this work week look!
