Pulled back.

I wore my bangs pulled back today which was a refreshing change. It is so nice being able to not worry about hair being in your eyes all day. My look of the day consisted of a print tunic, lace short, and a cardigan. With my gladiator sandals I was ready to go. This playful but chic look was perfect for a day at work and a Friday afternoon at home. I have quite a busy week coming up. A week from now I will be on vacation and not able to post. Preparing for the trip this week will keep me busy. I am headed to the Zoo on Sunday but will be back to posting on Monday. In the meantime, have a great weekend and help me get to 400 followers!

Crinoline.

The circle skirt on this H&M dress makes me want to throw some crinoline underneath it. I can picture this dress with some pouf underneath to make it really stand out. For work today I decided to pair a classic red cardigan with the dress and my white t-strap sandals. I love the cut of this dress and the print is wonderful. I do not wear navy that often but this dress is definitely an exception. The shape of this classic dress is flattering on many body types. It's a perfect summer dress for a girl who does not like too show it all in a skin baring summer dress. 

Tee's and greens.

One of this seasons biggest trends is tees. Today I wore a deep v-neck graphic tee. This t-shirt features an Eiffel tower photo on it. I am obsessed with all things Paris. To dress up the tee I wore a lace olive colored skirt and a long black cardigan. This look is simple and chic. Any time you have a t-shirt that is simple it can always be dressed up by pairing it with a fancy skirt or layered over a simple dress. Bright rainy day.

Today was a gloomy day but thinking positively I threw on a purple dress, printed scarf, and white cardigan for a bright 'put together' look. This dress with a cinched waist is one of my favorites. The color is gorgeous but the fit is excellent and the fabric super lightweight and comfortable. This long white cardigan is perfect in the winter time for keeping me warm, but on this rainy day it came in handy. The rolled up sleeves helped keep me cool but still protected from indoor air conditioned temperatures. Last, this printed scarf tied together my look. Wrapped around my neck once the scarf gives the look a 'cool' vibe. Again, the bright pattern is perfect for brightening up a rainy gloomy day.
