Thank God.

The title of my post gives tribute to God cause this day is over and to Glee for doing an amazingly sad episode. Not only am I weepy now (not really) but wow that was depressing. I still loved the music though! Thank goodness this day is over because I was stressing out about it all weekend. I hope I did okay on my test. I recently learned that my Intro to golf class will be over soon. Yes, I am taking a golf class and yes it is ridiculously annoying and hard. Who knew golf was so complicated. Anyway, I got a ton of work done today and I hope to get more done with this intense amount of energy I have.

Today I wore a comfortable look for trotting around campus and test taking. I wore boots for the rain, leggings, a tunic top, scarf and necklace. Again with the layered scarf and necklace one of my favorite trends this fall. I left my Paris tunic home for the first few weeks of school and it really upset me because it is my favorite top to throw on with a pair of leggings for comfort days. I am sure many of you have seen me wear it before but I can't help it it's one of my favorite items in my closet. I definitely failed at wearing something bright today but maybe for tomorrow because it is going to be continuously dreary here for the rest of the week! I have a few looks in mind that I want to wear soon but I am waiting for the weather to clear up so I can take good photos of them! Thanks for reading/commenting/following I really appreciate it. Darker than day.

My apologies for not posting yesterday. It was a travel day for me as I returned back to school. Once I got here I had a ton of unpacking and then loads of homework that I should have finished while over break. I have a big test in my western civilizations class tomorrow. After tomorrow I should have a short break from intense school work. Hopefully the weather brightens up too!

I wore a very dark outfit today. I need to wear something bright tomorrow to make these rainy days not seem so bad. Today I layered black tights and a white long sleeve t-shirt under a blue ruffle dress, black scarf, and grey sweater. I love this grey sweater because of the flowy piece of cotton attached to the hem of the skirt.

I wore my new boots today. They are from the Olsenboye collection at JCPenney. The Olsenboye line was created by the Olsen Twins. I absolutely loved their selection of boots and I hard a hard time choosing between three pairs of different heights. I chose the tallest pair available that didn't have a heel. The zipper detail on the outside is very nice because I was looking for something with a little silver in it. My other leather boots have gold buckles and I wanted something that was just the opposite.

Pictures of rain.

I took my photos in the rain today. It was just sprinkling but I didn't think it would stop so I decided to take a stab at it and stand out there while it sprinkled. It wasn't too bad and I barely got wet at all. I wore a purple dress to lounge around in with my leggings. The head scarf was a last minute add on during the latter part of the day. Soon I hope to post a video tutorial on how to tie a scarf like I do. 

My week home is starting to come to a close. It saddens me because it has been very relaxing and I am not ready to get back in to doing school work. I have a lot of things to do during the month of October but somehow they will all get done I know it. I have had some work to do while I have been home and it is starting to stress me out. I didn't realize just how much it was until today. I have almost finished all my readings but I have a short essay like paper to write tomorrow and then studying for a test on Tuesday. All I will be able to think about when I get back to school is.. is it thanksgiving yet? Hope everyone had a great week thanks for reading! :)

Also, I think the color of the week is purple. Almost everything I packed was black, white, or purple. You will see it again in tomorrows post!
