Skipped.

I understand I skipped taking photos yesterday but thats what happens when I am busy! I road tripped to Syracuse, NY yesterday for the Syracuse University fashion show. It was a fun trip and I took a few photos to share. I had the hardest time today finding a place to take photos. I wore a purple tunic which features a cowl neckline and pockets. This loose flow-y dress is perfect for Friday because it is comfortable yet the color is lovely. I paired the tunic with a pair of solid black leggings and my silver sandals. Blazers.

The color of this blazer is so wonderful. The bright color is perfect for Fall or in this case Spring. I wore this blazer over a lovely summer dress which I purchased at Target a few months ago. The blazer I thrifted from Goodwill a while back. I also wore my dot tights and a pair of cute flats. This look was easy to throw together and I love the mix of the rich gold blazer with the pale cream color dress! I was able to take lots of photos today and I finally edited them down to ten photos! I am glad to be back in action with my blog I have missed posting and am finally starting to get back to reading the blogs I follow. Thank you for reading! :)

Swing of things.

I am back into the swing of things here at school. I made the mistake of not taking my photos first thing this morning and I had the hardest time finding a place with no people to snap my photos. I took a few in the lounge downstairs where it was abandoned because it is beautiful outside. I wore a pair of patterned tights and a blue and purple dress with my long short sleeve black cardigan. Paired with my black flats I was all set for this warm day. When it comes to warm weather my go to look is a little dress with flats or sandals and a cute cardigan. I also sometimes opt for a skirt and top or the occasional shorts. I love warm weather and I just purchased so many great items that I can't wait to share. Thanks for reading and following! :)

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone. A quick post today just to show you the lovely new dress I wore for the holiday. I am busily packing and doing last minute things at home since I will be returning to school tomorrow. I wore this Forever 21 dress which I purchased a few months ago and haven't worn til today. I felt that it was the perfect Spring dress for easter. I love the details the color is great and the ruffles are so fun. The photos came out a little dark but they will do! Thanks for reading! Failed trip.

Okay, so we didn't make it to NYC because our bus was almost four hours delayed. But, I did make it to the mall and made a few purchases which I can't wait to show you. Although I really wanted to go to the city today I was happy that we didn't waste the day away and were able to get out a little. I wore a new dress which I purchased at Goodwill earlier this week for $5. The dress was originally from Forever 21 and I am sure it was priced for at least $20 or $30 dollars when at the store. The sleeves are unique and the color is gorgeous. Plus, the length is perfect and it will be great for next winter. I wore some basics with the dress today including black tights and boots as well as my houndstooth scarf and a patent black belt. It was so nice to get outside to take some photos today. Recovering.

I am still recovering from being sick and I have also been hard at work revamping my closet at home. It has been given a fresh coat of paint and my room is a total mess. Of course, I haven't had time to take photos and I tried to snap a few today but it is raining outside and my house is so dark! I figured I would put up a few photos anyway since I at least attempted to and I have been thinking about the blog as always! I am hoping to catch up on reading other blogs soon! I am off to New York City tomorrow but I hope to post some photos from the trip when I get home! :)

Sickly.

I am home for Spring Break but I have been very sick the past few days. Of course I couldn't let a t-shirt and sweatpants bring me down too much so I threw on a couple necklaces for a little pizazz. Also, I went thrift shopping today and found a few things I cannot wait to show you. I am going to New York City for the day this week if anyone has any suggestions as far as thrift stores (or any shops) let me know! As for now, I am feeling a little better and I hope to do a regular post tomorrow or Monday to start the week off right. Thanks for sticking with me! :)

Carnival?

One of the dining hall workers told me my necklace looked like a carnival. She must be crazy. I love this necklace because of the multi-strands and because of all the great colors. I wore the necklace with my bright yellow sweater and a pair of jeans. I didn't take any time to formally take blog photos today but I sat by the pond with my boyfriend for a while and we took a few photos! I get to go home tomorrow and I am very excited! Brighten Up A Rainy Day

It is so rainy and gross out today. I couldn't decide on what to wear today and in the end I decided to wear my tie dye jeans and a plain tee. Very basic but something that I can easily throw on. The jeans help to spice up my look since they are a little bit different than a plain pair of jeans. I have already started to pack for break which is always a hard thing for me to do. I don't like to be without the majority of my wardrobe for more than a week! Hopefully some outdoor photos will be taken when I am on break if the weather holds out! Best Dressed Reader.

I have had little time to post and I am thankful I have managed to post yesterday as well as today. Unfortunately my bloglovin' has been adding up and I have not had time to read my favorite bloggers posts! I will get caught up soon I hope. I threw together a quick comfortable look today because I am still not feeling very well. I wore my I Heart Ronson shorts with a red sweatshirt from Forever 21. I attempted to spice up this plain look with my striped tights and bow belt. I also wore my boots because I thought it was going to rain. The weather channel keeps telling me that rain will come and I have been prepared but it hasn't rained. On an exciting note I have been chosen as Teen Vogues best dressed reader of the day!
