Forecasting.

Back to the craziness of school. I have much to do between now and April break. I am busily planning our Fashion Societies fashion show as well as keeping up with schoolwork, exams, and projects. Today I wore a longer dress than usual. I typically only wear this dress during the warmer months because I love wearing it alone but I have a bad case of Spring fever so I paired it with a cardigan to make it more appropriate for the colder weather. I also wore a pair of black tights and my black boots. Overall this look is simplistic and comfortable which is perfect for a Monday.

I am currently working on a trend forecasting project and we are doing 70's fashion. I have been looking up photos from the 70's and I have realized just how much I love some of the items from that era. My favorite photos are of Twiggy in the 70's. She is one of my favorite style icons of all time. Thank you for all the great feedback on my last post! :)

Catching up.

Sorry for the lack of a post yesterday but it was snowing so hard I was cooped up indoors almost the entire day and I was in no condition to post! I am in the process of getting my stuff together to go back to school tomorrow. Of course as I said before packing is always a problem for me. I hope that I am able to fit everything!  I wore a comfortable look today with an oversize old man sweater! This sweater I found at Goodwill and it is Christian Dior which was an amazing find at Goodwill for so cheap! I wore plain black leggings as well as a scarf and my pouch necklace. Overall this look is simplistic and comfy.

Yesterday I wore a mix of stripes and houndstooth! I snapped a few photos while waiting for my cranberry muffins to bake! Thanks for reading! :)

Take two.

I actually took photos twice today. The first time was inside and was a total fail so I went outside and had my mom quickly snap a few photos which turned out much better. I don't have much to say but thanks to everyone who has newly stumbled upon my blog and left positive feedback it means a lot to me! I wore a purple dress and my grey cardigan. I also wore white tights which I love wearing during the winter because they stand out in a sea of jeans and black tights! :)

Suitcase style.

I have been working my outfits out of items that I decided to bring home from school. I was very choosy this time and only brought home certain items that I thought would put together good outfits and save space. Unfortunately it has been much colder than I imagined and I have only been able to quickly have my mother take photos outside on our porch. I always make the weirdest smirks when someone is taking photos for me. I prefer the self timer and tripod set up but in a hurry this always works the best. I wore one of my chic rewards today which I redeemed on Chictopia about a month ago. I love this wool sweater the colors are great and there are several ways to wear it. Today I went basic by pairing my black leggings and boots as well as a purple scarf for a pop of color.

Lastly, I want to show you the newest edition to my room. I purchased this lovely wire dress form at our local TJ Maxx. It was only $40 and it is the most perfect edition to my bedroom decor. I plan to hang hats, scarves, and jewelry off it once summer comes! Thank you for reading and for all the amazing support! :)

Can't stop til you get enough.

It is very clear to me that I have a strong addiction to these corduroy leggings. They are the epitome of my favorite pant/legging. They are comfortable, different than the plain black leggings, in a great color, and they are unique. I can wear these leggings as pants as well as leggings because they look like corduroy pants but have the stretch of a legging. I have worn these several times and I figure today with this remix post I could show you the different ways I have worn this. Once it gets warmer I should be able to wear them several more different ways. First I have photos of the ways I have previously worn these leggings!

Today I wore them with my short black boots and a striped turtle neck for comfort and warmth while shopping! Thank you for reading! :)

Emerald.

I can't exactly tell what the color of this top is. I would like to say green but when I look at it I see a bit of blue but maybe my eyes are going crazy. I hear pleats are in for the upcoming season. I will do my part in supporting this trend by wearing my emerald green pleated top which has a bunch of folds along the hem of the top. I have had this top for a few months now. I found it at the end of the season back in the Fall and haven't worn it until now. I love the color and the pleats and flow give the top a different vibe than being just a basic camisole (I am trying to bring the word camisole back). I paired the top with my favorite scarf in the houndstooth pattern, I also wore my black boots and jeans to finish off this relaxed yet still sophisticated look. My internet was not working earlier so I had to wait a few hours before I was finally able to post! Hopefully tomorrow will be much better! Thank you for reading! :)

Should have known.

I wish I had known I would be so busy while I am home. I went to a casino today with my family and ate at an amazing buffet. I have had the hardest time catching up on my bloglovin' it has been ridiculous! I have over 400 of posts waiting for me to read from my favorite other bloggers. It is crazy and I have dying to read all of those posts but I have such a hard time catching up. Hopefully I won't be so busy during the week but I doubt that will happen. I love having something to do every minute of the day but it gives me such little time to do my blogging business! I want to thank everyone for the great comments while I have been so busy here at home! My photos today are from our trip to the casino. Thanks to my brother for taking the photos! :)

I'm going home.

I get to go home today. I quickly snapped a few photos before I finish getting packed up and then I have to go to three classes before I get to leave. I wore a fairly basic outfit today. Something comfortable for the car but also the tights make it more fun then wearing a plain old black dress! I hope to do a little shopping while I am home. I have a few gift cards and I also want to look at Goodwill. So I might have some new items to show you soon. Thank you to everyone for reading, following, and commenting. I can't believe it!
