I finally figured out how to use my sewing machine that I got for Christmas! I haven't sewn since the 7th grade and I forgot everything about how to sew. It took me a while to figure out how to set-up the machine and how to get it working. I haven't really sewn anything major I just did a few rows of stitches on test fabric but thats about the size of it. I was snowed in today and therefore decided to not dress up and I worked on my sewing machine for a majority of the day. I hope to be back tomorrow with regular outfit posts as long as the snowing stops!

I used to love sewing as a child, my Mum and Gran both sewed and taught me. I haven't really done much for ages, just the odd hem work, or buttons.

ReplyDeleteI loved sewing when I was a kid, but unfortunately haven't had a sewing machine of my own since leaving the house I grew up in... They're tons of fun though once you learn to sew straight! :-) And of course, it's been awesome and my pleasure to follow your blog!
